Over the last two years we have been challenged in ways that we had never expected. Our personal, social and global resilience were all put to the test. We had to contend with changes that were uninvited, imposed and, significantly interrupted the structure and quality of our lives. Although our research suggests that we experienced spiralling psychological ill-health, we also find ourselves having survived 100% of our worst days. We are here, and we did it by holding hope.
In this brief half-hour webinar, you are invited to hear about the sheer resilience of the human form, and how we are really well designed to deal with disruption. As part of our evolutionary heritage, we have wonderful capacity for recovery and the promotion of growth. We will explore with you the role that hope plays in the recovery from distress, and how it has forms the building blocks to restoring psychological health, and social cohesion.
