Mental Fitness is central to wellbeing. It is the development and consistent training of psychological skills which supports individuals to regulate emotional energy, modify cognitive content and optimise coping behaviours, so that individuals are able to respond and live optimally, regardless of adversity.
Our theory of wellbeing applies a salutogenesis model [Aaron Antonovsky, 1979] of application where human assets are optimised, resilience is developmental and protective relationships are prioritised. There are nine elements, in synthesis with positive psychology, which propose activities and applications to develop, enhance and create conditions for a flourishing life.
There are 2 models in which Salutegenics applies its practice.
