With a love of learning and passion for wellbeing-focused psychology and neuroscience, Dr AJ Glazebrook is drawn to strategies and tools that best harness the brain to inspire optimal human performance. Dr AJ is a published researcher and active academic with a dedicated focus on salutogenesis and the neuroscience of psychological wellbeing. She uses strength-based approaches and neuroeducation to support individuals and groups to overcome obstacles and improve their wellbeing and performance each day, in and around the challenges of life.
Dr AJ embraces challenges with curiosity. Throughout her career, Dr AJ’s innovative projects have involved using psychological neuroscience as the basis for enhancing posttraumatic growth, understanding how best to use benefit-finding processes to support wellbeing in families raising children with food hypersensitivity, managing conflict resolution in the workplace to create win-win outcomes, and harnessing brain science to increase the health and safety of young workers on industrial sites.
On the home front, AJ lives the beach life with her family - enjoying plenty of ‘vitamin sea’, by way of the sand between her toes, taking in the fresh sea breeze, and appreciating the sights and sounds of the ocean. AJ and her husband raise their two children with the same shared sense that harnessing brain science and wellbeing psychology, along with a healthy helping of good humor, is a helpful way to tackle life’s challenges and live life fully.
